Built for My Mom.
Built for You.
Dentplicity started with a simple question: why should independent dentists have worse tools than corporate chains? The answer: they shouldn't. This is personal.
Give independent dentists the same intelligence as DSOs.
We combine market data, competitive insights, and AI automation so practices can win without selling out.
I Grew Up in Dental Offices
My mom is a dentist. I literally grew up in dental offices—I fell asleep on her dental chair at USC dental school when I was three years old. That was the 1980s.
Over the years, I watched her build one practice into two successful practices in Orange County, California. I was always helping her stay at the forefront of technology—iTero scanners, CAD/CAM, digital workflows—decades ahead of her peers.
Dentistry isn't just a profession in my family. It's dinner conversation. It's weekend problem-solving. It's watching my mom stress about a patient's outcome, celebrate a successful case, or navigate the endless complexities of running an independent practice.
2007: When Technology Met Dentistry
Before Dentplicity, I was a leader at Demand Force—a 2007 startup that pioneered patient communication software. We were eventually acquired by Intuit.
Demand Force changed everything. We introduced automated email and text reminders to dental practices. Sounds simple now, but in 2007? Revolutionary. Patient no-shows dropped. Recall rates improved. Practices that adopted our technology saw real revenue growth.
I watched small practices transform their operations with just a few tools. That's when I understood: the right technology doesn't just save time—it improves patient outcomes. Fewer missed appointments means better oral health. Better communication means patients follow treatment plans.
The Game Changed—For the Worse
Today, my brother is an oral surgeon. My sister-in-law is a general dentist. I'm watching the next generation face a completely different landscape than my mom did.
Private equity has entered dentistry. DSOs have unlimited marketing budgets, sophisticated analytics, and technology that independent practices can't afford. The game is stacked against them.
Meanwhile, new dentists graduate with $300,000+ in student debt. They're expected to build a practice from scratch while competing against corporations with dedicated marketing teams, data scientists, and million-dollar ad budgets. It's not a fair fight.
One Platform. Every Advantage.
What if independent dentists had access to the same tools as DSOs? The same market intelligence. The same AI-powered marketing. The same competitive insights that inform billion-dollar decisions.
That's Dentplicity. A one-stop platform for independent dentistry. Everything a practice needs to compete, grow, and thrive—without selling out to private equity or hiring expensive consultants.

The Tools Gap Is Real
What DSOs Have
- Full-time marketing teams
- Sophisticated analytics dashboards
- AI-powered patient targeting
- Market intelligence reports
- Reputation management systems
- Unlimited advertising budgets
What Independents Get
- DIY marketing on weekends
- Basic Google Analytics (maybe)
- Guessing who to target
- No competitive intelligence
- Manual review responses
- Limited, stressed budgets
This isn't fair. Independent dentists provide better care, build real relationships with patients, and deserve to thrive. But they're fighting with one hand tied behind their backs.
DSO-Level Tools. Free for Independents.
"I wanted to create tools that are only available to DSOs—and give them to independent dentists. I want to offer it to you as free as possible or nearly free. My goal is for most Dentplicity users to never pay me a dime."

Mom's Wisdom
"Dentistry is a community-driven effort. You have to have a good reputation even amongst your peers, the specialists, and you help each other out. It's not really competitive."
— Mom
Community Over Competition
The best dentists know that helping peers helps everyone. Referral networks, shared knowledge, mutual support. We build tools that strengthen these bonds.
Patient Outcomes First
Every feature we build asks one question: does this help dentists provide better care? If it doesn't, we don't build it.
Technology for Good
AI and analytics should empower the little guy, not just the corporations. We're democratizing the tools that used to be reserved for the well-funded.
